Jerry DeWolf

Chairman 

Jerry DeWolf  was born and raised in Lyons NY, a small rural town in upstate NY. He graduated from the Lyons Jr Sn High School in 1999. Enlisting in the US Navy Submarine Force after high school, Jerry completed basic training and went through the Naval Nuclear Power Training Pipeline as a Nuclear trained electrician’s mate, and then was assigned to the  USS Springfield (SSN-761), a Nuclear fast Attack Submarine. From July 2001, to October 2006, Jerry rose through the ranks and briefly served as Acting Electrical Division Chief. Jerry was honorably discharged after 8 years of service as an EM1(SS) or E-6, in July of 2007, and relocated to Keedysville Maryland. 

Jerry was appointed to the Central Committee in November 2014, elected in 2018, and has served as Chairman since 2016. Jerry has also served in several roles for congressional campaigns, and has volunteers for several others, as well as serving as the treasurer for the Republican Club. Jerry currently also serves as the Chair of the MDGOP Credentials Committee, and in 2019, was awarded the Maryland Republican Party Republican Man of the year award.

Jerry was a plaintiff in the US Supreme Court Case Benisek V Lamone also known as the Maryland Redistricting Case, which was decided in June 2019 against the plaintiffs. 

Jerry is married to Chrystal DeWolf,  and together they have three children; Eleanor, Evelyn, and Benjamin. Jerry is a Christian and an avid history buff. Jerry works for Getinge Infection Control, Life Science Division performing electrical, and mechanical engineering for bio-containment applications at Fort Detrick Army Base.
